OneSearch - Highlights: Record Display

This short Research Guide introduces you to some of the exciting features available in OneSearch.

Searching Library Databases

Even though OneSearch can help you discover most of the Library's resources, you may still want to make use of our dabases.

When you search our subject-specific databases you should retrieve fewer, more relevant results on your topic.  You can select databases within your subject area from the Find Articles by Subject webpage.

Features - Viewing an Item Record

For many of the items, once you have selected a title in which you are interested and click on the title link, you will be directed to the record for your selected item.

From the record, take advantage of Subject Terms (if available) to find additional information on your topic or related to your topic.

On the right-hand side of the item's record you will see several tools that you can use to manage your results.  Ue these tools to format a citation in a standard citation style, export the reference to a citation manager, email it, and more! While using OneSearch, just hover your cursor over the different icons to learn their functions.
