There is an abundance of statistical data available that provides information about demographics, economics, health, and more.  This guide is certainly not comprehensive, but it can help you to get started with finding  international, United States, and Alaska statistics.

Who provides statistical information?

Statistical information is generally collected by government bodies or related organizations.  Consider the type of agency or organization that may collect the statistics that you need when you are searching for statistics (e.g. US government, World Bank, etc).
