The Alaska Statutes are frequently sought out in the library, and there are copies at Egan Library and many other libraries in the state. They are also available online. They are updated after each legislature, with supplements and updates in between, and an Index to assist with finding things.
Up to date local information is generally best found in the news. Find many Alaskan newspapers online here, or search for specific titles in Journal Titles.
Many resources are available on local government sites, including local utilities, libraries, notification processes, local government meetings and notes, elections, and more.
The UAS libraries have a focus on supported UAS programs and courses, faculty and staff and students, but there are more specialized libraries in Alaska to potentially assist with detailed questions on government and law.
